About this Speaker
Kendra Sue McGeady has been Director of Pelivan Transit/ Northeast Tribal Transit Consortium since March 2016. As the director, she oversees all facets of the operation, which covers 4,466 square miles in the seven counties of northeast Oklahoma, and provides transit services for the Cherokee Nation and nine tribes of Ottawa County, located in northeast Oklahoma. Pelivan Transit is the lead agency for the Veterans Ride Connect, a consortium of six rural and tribal transit providers offering discounted trips to veterans across the State of Oklahoma.
Pelivan Transit is the 2019 Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Rural Transit System of the Year, 2019 Oklahoma Transit Association (OTA) System of the Year and received the OTA Rural Innovation Award.
Kendra is a member of the Southwest Transit Association Board of Directors, Oklahoma Transit Association Board of Directors, a member of the National Center for Applied Technology (N-CATT) advisory council and serves as Chairwoman of the Cherokee Nation Cherokee Phoenix Editorial Board of Directors.
